This is a lifetime blues song. Not the blues genre but a sadness of passing time. We should enjoy life as much as we can. I have said before that I want to create wonderful music that convey emotions. It takes a long time to create my albums. I cherish the time. I look for inspiration in many places. This album took me back to my birthplace of Bangor, Maine and to visit family in the Bay area of California. The best time though, was when my children were crowding around me pushing pads on the MPC and pulling on my guitar strings. They are getting so big, so fast..I think this song is the realization of my growing in age...one day are lifetime will be in the wind. I am blessed to have 3 kids to carry on for me....not too soon though :)
